Just a few months to have done till level 3 book 2 is fantastic! I figured if I were to do one word a day it will take me 10 months to finish till level 3 (300 words!). So I am trying to keep it that way unless it shows real interest to learn more than 1 word a day. Will adjust according to his 'input' ability so as not to kill his interest. It has been fun so far and we are finishing level 1 book 1 soon. Little motivation here and there did manage to keep him going. Am waiting for 四五快读 to arrive while I am doing this so that will probably be my supplement if I can finish off 基础汉字 with him. Will go check out 学前阅读计划 too and see if it is suitable for him at a later stage. Must get myself prepared first :) Haven't start of P&J yet as I am still doing 3 words blending with him. I know I have started late but as the saying goes, it's better late than never. Guess I was too focus on getting my P5 boy to study than I thought I still have lots of time for my K1 boy to start, but maybe I am wrong. So now is catchup time, but still trying to do it in an acceptable pace and trying not to rush into it. After all, it's not his fault but mine for not starting early, so don't want to pressure him because of that. I guess your girl should be able to read quite well now! Cool. It's so nice that they can become independent reader, allowing them to read more and also more time for us as we do not need to read to them :p Hi May,

Just a few months to have done till level 3 book 2 is fantastic! I figured if I were to do one word a day it will take me 10 months to finish till level 3 (300 words!). Yes，基础汉really helps a lot..
